The project comes as a need for change in the actual context of classes, where the students’ apathy by the subjects studied and their discouragement to do their homework and to accomplish other academic duties was notorious.

In this perspective, restlessness gripped the teachers, whom decided to study and seek new forms, methods and resources that could contribute to change this worrying situation; this way was how they saw in the Tics an innovative and contextualized alternative according to the change requirements that education method needed.

The proposed solution integrates all the resources offered by the virtual world to daily academic work at classes, this methodology changes from the leaf notebooks full of boring writing to interactive notebooks full of possibilities, where the students' creativity provides access easier cognitive development, this method bring the students closer to the real world by developing the specific skills required to face it.

This project aims to encourage our young students to become innovative, creative, dreamy but reflective, and to get school autonomy. It pretends to create another view about the use of technologies, which understand that internet is not only chat, music and porn, but offers many educational alternatives.

It also provides the opportunity for teachers, parents and students, to change the scheme of closed school confined to four walls and instead they could start thinking in the extended school in all areas where there is a computer with Internet connectivity, 24 hours a day.

Finally, the project aims to develop the necessary skills on the students to cope with a technological society with global vision and future.

The high school emerged as an innovative concept of education. To cope the challenges of the XXI century set out to change the old methods of "language, chalk and board" for a more updated method consistent with the actual context of the students.

To achieve this purpose, we proposed the students to leave their notebooks full of forgotten and impractical notes and turn them interactive by using Tics, developing this way the skills required for social interaction and work.

Consequently, the educational essential objectives of the project are the transformation from the traditional school approach to an innovative virtual school according to the digital age as well as the access to knowledge through a playful, independent and creative method, allowing students re-create their tasks with a practical and inclusive vision.

The experience was very satisfactory and successful, because although there are still lack of resources, we now have more self-reliant and innovative young people with a sense of belonging, love for knowledge and what they do, we have creative and resourceful students, they know they classrooms are not only in school but are always open, they are also at home and anywhere they can connect to a computer and have Internet access, with teachers with whom they can interact from anywhere in every moment, either through chat messages or sharing websites.

The development of this project in the Loyola High School has enabled students to develop skills in resources and online tools that allow them to recreate their tasks in a didactic way for them and for the entire school community,  making easy to learn different subjects. Thus the students develop skills that will be useful on the society to perform as productive workers. The project’s website may show us a lot of evidence of students’ work.
